Mad dog made

My first blade …a Mad Dog ATAK II …. bought the knife in mid 1995. It has been my daily travel companion in Africa for 23 years now. Opened many a box, cut straps and webbing, cut many suppers into manageable chunks, did its duty on African hunts and does duty as my primary dive knife in Mozambique. It’s a tool of superior quality and design … shrugged off my feeble tasks with ease... my go-to blade when Africa is calling... When the chips are down, my ATAK steps up.

My first Mad Dog was a DSU2... This knife is now 20 years old and in really good shape, I dived with it at 25 meters and sustained just some rust on the sharp part, easily removed by sharpening. Now I have a Hell Cat, Panther, Mirage X Ceramic, Frequent Flyer, SEAL ATAK and two Rat Things. This is way too many Mad Dogs, as they will all last a lifetime!
